SMART SENSORY SPORTS SHOES WITH A MOBILE PHONE APP

Smart sensory sports shoes and a mobile phone application were created as a reaction to implementing technology in shoes and measuring health functions. The sensor system measures humidity and temperature. Together with a microcomputer located in the instep part of the shoe upper, it records the risks of dermatological diseases on the skin of the foot and warns about them through the application on the phone. The standards for setting the values came from measurements and cooperation with the orthopaedic outpatient clinic at Motol University Hospital in Prague.

The outsole was created in collaboration with the Czech company Fillamentum, which specializes in 3D printable polymer materials. The newly produced PEBA filament was used in this model for the first time. Thanks to its laboratory- tested physical properties, it has the best potential for use in footwear.
